Josh Sawyer’s goal 15 seconds into overtime spoiled a third-period comeback by Kennebunk/Wells as Marshwood/Traip/Sanford/Noble (1-2) earned its first win of the season, beating the Rams (4-2) at Alfond Forum in Biddeford.
Makili Matty netted two unassisted goals and Zac Camp also scored for the Knighthawks.
Kennebunk erased a 3-1 deficit in the third period, on goals by Ben Urban and Weston Church. Church tied it with nine seconds left in regulation.
Kennebunk’s Sam Pietrowicz opened the scoring in the second period. Connor Lentz stopped 21 shots for the Knighthawks.
Rams goalie Richard Pocius made 34 saves.
