The Purple Panthers outscored the Hornets 12-5 in the fourth quarter to earn a close win in Waterville.
Garrett Gendreau was Waterville’s (2-2) top scorer with 13 points. Derek Couture added 10 points and Jacoby Sirois finished with nine.
Colin Schlobohm led Leavitt (1-3) with 13 points.
