The Golden Trojans (2-0) jumped to a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the first, paced by an RBI double from John Rohner and a run-scoring single by Christian Schaffer as they easily handled the Eagles (0-2) at Saco.
Brady Graffam had a pair of doubles for Thornton Academy, and Rohner, Cody Bowker and Jeremiah Chessie each had two hits.
