TRAIP ACADEMY 25, WAYNFLETE 2, 5 INNINGS

TRAIP ACADEMY 25, WAYNFLETE 2: Hunter Sawtelle hit a grand-slam and the Rangers (11-4) defeated the Flyers (1-11) in five innings in Portland.

Sam Kilty added three hits and three RBI for Traip Academy, which led 9-2 in the second inning and added 16 runs across the fourth and fifth innings.

Charlie Driscoll (1-0) earned the win, pitching three innings of scoreless relief with six strikeouts. He added two singles at the plate.

Max Winson had two hits for Waynflete, recording a double and scoring a run.
