Cora Boothby-Akilo had a game-high 14 points to lead a balanced attack as the Red Riots (12-3) took a 19-6 first-quarter lead and steadily pulled away to beat the Golden Trojans (1-14) at South Portland.
Maggie Whitmore added 12 points for South Portland.
Mckenzie Melendez and Alexis Sanders each had six points for Thornton Academy.
