SOUTH PORTLAND 4, FALMOUTH 2:Â Hunter Owen drove home Jake Poole with the go-ahead run on a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning, and the Red Riots extended their winning streak to nine games with a win over the Yachtsmen (7-8) at Falmouth.
South Portland (12-2) led 2-0 after three innings, but Will Bopp and Marcus Cady each hit an RBI single in the fourth to tie the game.
Winning pitcher Noah Lewis allowed seven hits in six innings.
Falmouth’s Garrett Tracy also pitched six innings.
