Gemima Motema had 16 points as the Bulldogs (8-1) edged the Red Riots (7-2) at South Portland.
Elizabeth Yugu added 13 points and Davina Kabantu had 10. Portland went on a 13-0 run in the third quarter to take the lead for good.
Maggie Whitmore ended the 13-0 Portland run when she made a 3 for her 1,000th career point. She finished with 14 points. Hylah Owen added 13 for the Red Riots.
