NOBLE 6, MASSABESIC 5
Ava Gerrish drove in six runs in Game 2 as Massabesic (1-3) earned a doubleheader split with a 17-7 victory in Game 2 after Noble (2-3) won 6-5 in the opener at Waterboro.
Kendall Tetu went 4 for 5 for Massabesic in the second game. Noble’s Lexi Volinsky was 3 for 4, and Ellie Gray and Paige Bronkema each drove in two runs. Gray belted a home run.
Bronkema won Game 1 with RBI single in the top of the seventh, after Massabesic rallied from a 5-1 deficit. Volinsky hit a home run and a single for Noble.
Katelyn Boissonneault had two hits and two RBI for the Mustangs.
