Lana Waite had a triple among her three hits as the Cougars (8-2) outlasted the Mustangs (2-11) in a high-scoring contest in Dixfield.
Emily Woods and Abby Luczynski each hit a double and a single, and Aleiah Ward also doubled. Waite and Ward combined to pitch a three-hitter, with Waite striking out seven in four innings and Ward punching out three in three frames.
Jazlynn Totman pitched all six innings for Mt. View.
