CONY 9, LINCOLN ACADEMY 6
NEWCASTLE — The Cony girls lacrosse team wasn’t about to let a change in venue spoil its opener.

Sierra Clark led the Cony offense with three goals and two assists, while Cammie Osborne scored two goals and Faith Leathers-Pouliot had a goal and an assist. Kammi Lambert, Abbie Doiron and Hannah Rouleau added tallies, while Sarah Cook-Wheeler made 10 saves.
Alex Fabiano and Ellie Mathews scored two goals apiece for Lincoln Academy, while Erika Mathieson and Josey Henry added scores. Maddie Shaw made 10 saves.
