Jacob Chadbourne hit a walk-off RBI single in Game 1, and the Lakers (3-2) held off a big comeback by the Patriots (1-4) in Game 2 to complete a doubleheader sweep in Naples, winning 9-8 and 11-8.

Home runs by Zach Winchester and Nick Geer helped Gray-New Gloucester take an 8-5 lead in the opener, but Lake Region tied it in the sixth on a two-run double by Mike Chase and won it on Chadbourne’s hit in the seventh.

In Game 2, the Patriots scored seven runs in the fourth after falling behind 8-0, but Matt Aker’s sacrifice fly in the fifth drove home the eventual winning run.
