Aine Powers scored twice and Regan Sullivan saved a penalty kick as host Yarmouth blanked Freeport.

Powers scored in the sixth minute, from Brooke Boone, to put the Clippers (9-1-1) up 1-0.

The Falcons (7-3-3) had a chance to answer early in the second half, but Sullivan (five saves) denied Silvi Strong’s penalty kick.

Powers then doubled the lead with a goal, from Taylor Oranellas.

Amanda Panciocco stopped four shots for Freeport.
