Avery Sevigny reeled off two unassisted goals and picked up an assist, steering Mountain Valley (5-2) to 4-0 victory over Dirigo (4-3) in a field hockey game at Hosmer Field on Friday afternoon.

Sevigny gave the Falcons (5-2) a 2-0 lead going into halftime before Faith Riddick and Rylee Sevigny scored in the second half. Rylee Sevigny picked up an assist on Riddick’s goal.

Winning goalie Nora Tag made three saves, as did her counterpart, Allie Dyke. The Falcons outshot the Cougars, 16-5.
