Sophia Nino’s second-half insurance goal was key as the Cougars (2-4) held off the Greyhounds (1-6) in Dixfield.
Teeghan Simonsen scored with 1:47 left in the first half to put Dirigo up 1-0. Nino doubled that lead with just under 26 minutes left in the second half.
Addy Burkhardt cut the deficit in half for Lisbon with eight minutes left, but Dirigo was able to hold on for the victory.
