Delaney Haines scored 19 points as visiting Deering (4-13) defeated Cheverus (5-12) at Portland for its third straight victory.
Victoria Garand added 12 points for the Rams, who led 9-4 after one quarter and held the Stags scoreless for nearly six minutes.
Freshman reserve Julia Kratzer scored nine points for Cheverus in the second, but the Rams closed on a 12-2 run, capped by a Taja Wilkins 3-pointer, to go up 23-15 at the half.
The Stags got within seven in the third quarter, but a jumper from Garand and a Haines 3-pointer made it 34-22.
In the fourth period, the Stags never drew closer than 10 and the Rams put it away at the line.
Meg Kelly paced Cheverus with 11 points.
