Lucy Johnson scored with an assist from Joey Pompeo 41 seconds into the second overtime as Cheverus stayed undefeated with a 1-0 victory at Gorham.

The Stags (9-0) hadn’t been held scoreless for more than two quarters this season, but Rams goalie Madison Tibbals held them at bay with 11 saves until Cheverus finally broke through in transition, as Johnson got past the last defender and finished.

Ellie Skolnekovich stopped five shots for the Stags.

Gorham fell to 5-3.
