Abigail McCarty scored with 15 seconds remaining in the second overtime as the Roadrunners (2-2) won in Salem Township and dealt the Bucks (4-1) their first loss of the season.

McCarty’s game-winning goal was set up by a cross from Jenna Osgood. Mt. Abram jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half on goals by McKenzie Contreras and Osgood. Those goals were set up by Ari Dereszynski and Autumn Pulk, respectively.

Buckfield rallied back in the second half. Cora Brewster scored off a cross by Kai Trenoweth and Chloee Bennett tied the game when she buried a deflected ball into the back of the net with about 20 minutes remaining in regulation.

The teams’ goalies, Mt. Abram’s Jany Pepin and Buckfield’s Kianna Finnegan, each made nine saves.
