After falling behind, the Bucks tallied five consecutive goals to earn a road win over the Falcons in both teams’ season openers in Rumford.

Ali Mazza scored off an assist by Kara Jasud to give Mountain Valley a 1-0 lead with 26 minutes remaining in the game.

Buckfield bounced back. Brittany Carrier scored two goals and Chloee Bennett, Addy Smith and Alyssa Breton each contributed one. Bennett and Cora Brewster had one assist each.

Bucks goalie Kianna Finnagan made five saves and Mountain Valley’s Kloee Pelletier stopped six shots.
