Sean Tompkins scored three touchdowns as sixth-seeded Cheverus (5-4) rallied past No. 3 Massabesic (6-3) in a Class B South quarterfinal in Waterboro.

The Stags turned a 21-15 halftime deficit into a 36-21 lead, then held on in the fourth quarter as Nick Roberge directed a Massabesic comeback. Roberge rushed for a touchdown and threw TD passes to Ethan Roy and Michael Hendrix.
