The fourth-ranked Capers scored three runs in the fourth and the fifth innings to beat the No. 13 Lakers at Cape Elizabeth in a Class B South prelim.
Gabe Harmon had an RBI single in the fourth and William Altenburg and Antonio Dell’aquila hit back-to-back doubles in the fifth.
Lake Region scored on doubles in the fourth inning by Matthew Acher and Jacob Chadbourne.
