Anna Thornton netted five first-half goals, and Abi Thornton two, while leading the top-ranked Clippers (12-1) to an 11-0 halftime lead over No. 9 Mt. Ararat (6-8) during their state tournament quarterfinal in Yarmouth.

Katelyn D’Appolonia, with Yarmouth’s only goal of the second half, also scored twice. Annie Lowenstein added a goal and four four assists for the Clippers Natalie Teare a goal and an assists, and Ehyrn Groothoff, Kyaira Grondin and Bella Solari a goal each. Maddie Kinney notched the lone Eagles goal.
