Destiny Peter and Emma Travis scored 18 points apiece for the Red Riots (2-0) in a win over the Blue Devils (0-2) in Lewiston.
Peter scored 14 of her points in the first half, and Travis 14 in the second half. Mya Lawrence contributed 12 points for South Portland.
Ella Beaudoin led Lewiston with 14 points, and freshman Bailey Toderico added 10.
