Windham erupted for four goals in the second half, including the go-ahead tally by Kyla Harvie, to rally for a 5-3 win over Thornton Academy in a Class A South girls’ soccer match Wednesday night in Windham.
Thornton (9-3-1) led 2-1 at halftime after goals by Kayleigh Corriveau and Quincy Thibault.
Marley Jarvais tied it early in the second half with her second goal of the game, then set up a goal by Stella Jarvais that gave Windham (10-3) a 3-2 edge. Charlotte Belanger answered for Thornton, but Harvie broke the tie, and Mackenzie Delewski added an insurance goal.
Windham keeper Ale Hidell made seven saves. Thornton’s Ava Lomax finished with 22 saves.
