Julia Reed and Piper Forgues scored two minutes apart early in the second half, lifting the Rams (6-0) over the Red Riots (2-1-1) in Gorham.

Reed broke the scoreless deadlock four minutes into the second half, assisted by Forgues. Ashley Connolly assisted on Forgues’ goal.

Sawyer VondarHarr made eight saves for the shutout. South Portland keeper Amelia Burton-Fowler stopped 12 shots.
