Brady Adams scored 25 points, Dylan Gendron and Ryan Alexander each chipped in 16 points and the visiting Spartans (1-0) handled the Trojans (0-1) in Saco.
Adams and Luke Gendron (11 points) combined for 14 free throws in the fourth quarter. Alexander made four 3-pointers.
Wyatt Benoit scored a game-high 30 points on six 2-pointers, four 3-pointers and 6 of 7 free-throw attempts for the Trojans. Zach Nelson added 15 points, while Ryan Camire and Liam Hamilton each finished with nine points for TA.
