Evan Legassey scored 21 points, Tavian Lauture recorded 19 points and 10 rebounds, and the Rams (4-5) beat the visiting Spartans (4-6) for their third win in four games.
Deering also got 13 points from Justin Jamal, and nine points and 14 rebounds from Tayshaun Cleveland.
Dylan Gendron scored 15 points and Ryan Alexander had 11 for Sanford.
