Ella Pelletier and Gabbie Tibbetts gave Oxford Hills the fourth-quarter boost it needed to get past Edward Little 45-42 in a matchup of Class AA North girls basketball contenders Friday in Auburn.
The Red Eddies took a 32-31 lead into the final period, but Pelletier (six points) and Tibbetts (five) combined for 11 points in the fourth as the Vikings outscored Edward Little 14-10.
Pelletier finished with a game-high 22 points, and Tibbetts had 11. Maddy Herrick, who hit a 3-pointer in the fourth quarter, added nine points for Oxford Hills (13-2), which has won seven consecutive games.
Rachel Penny hit four treys and had 16 points for Edward Little (9-5), while Elizabeth Galway scored nine.
