Brody Taylor led a balanced offense with 12 points, and the Scots (7-11) clinched a home game in the first round of the Class AA South playoffs by defeating the short-handed Knights (16-2) in Standish.

Logan Kumar made three 3-pointers and scored 11 points for Noble, which rested several of its top players. The Knights are ranked No. 1 in this week’s Varsity Maine poll.

Bonny Eagle jumped from seventh to fourth place in the Heal point standings, setting up a quarterfinal against Sanford or Deering.
