Tyler Abell and Carter Norton helped the Cougars bounce back from a slow start and ground the Falcons in Rumford.

Mt. Blue (7-4) was limited to five points, all by Nolan Leso, and trailed 13-5 after one quarter. Abell scored seven points and Norton hit a pair of 3-pointers in the second to send the Class A Cougars into the half with a 22-17 lead.

Norton finished with six 3s for 18 points, while Abell hit four treys (three in the fourth) and also scored 18 points. Leso added 12.

Dylan Theriault topped Class C Mountain Valley (2-9) with nine points, while Tanner Henry and Ben Desalle each chipped in seven.
