Sean Achorn rebounded a missed shot and converted a putback in midair just beat the final buzzer, lifting the Eagles (7-2) over the Blue Devils (5-5) in Lewiston.
Messalonskee led 25-10 after one quarter, but Lewiston fought back and eventually took a 56-55 lead on a layup by Abdirahman Dakane with about nine seconds remaining.
Achorn paced Messalonskee’s balanced offense with 15 points. Ryan Parent made four 3-pointers on his way to 14 points, and Ty Bernier had three 3-pointers and 13 points.
Dakane scored 21 points and Lonnie Thomas added 12 for Lewiston.
