The Lakers (2-0) outscored the Falcons (2-1) 26-14 in the first half on their way to a Class B South road win in Rumford.
Lake Region’s Bella Smith led all scorers with 12 points, while Sam Jones and Helena Sheldrick contributed nine apiece.
Alyivia Theriault was Mountain Valley’s top scorer with 11 points, and Maddy Brown had six points.
