The Red Eddies’ (8-6) defense clamped down over the final three quarters to claim a road win over the Eagles (3-10) in Topsham.
Spurred by three 3-pointers from Andrew Clemons and two by Joseph Kessler, Mt. Ararat scored 24 points in the first quarter and led 24-17. Edward Little limited the Eagles to 26 points combined in the second, third and fourth quarters.
Akol Maiwen led the Red Eddies with 18 points, while Diing Maiwen scored 17 and Cedric Makelele had 12.
Clemons, who finished with four 3s in the game, scored 18, and Caleb Murphy added 10 for Mt. Ararat.
