Jane Flynn scored five goals, including the tying goal with 27 seconds left in regulation and the winner at 3:46 of overtime as Portland/Cape Elizabeth/Deering/South Portland/Waynflete (13-5) edged the Penobscot Pioneers (6-9-2) in a regular-season finale at Troubh Ice Arena in Portland.
Flynn’s final two goals both came on power plays.
The Beacons led 7-1 before Penobscot rallied for four goals in the second period and four more in the third. Ella Davis fueled the comeback with five goals.
Marina Bassett tallied four goals and Hartson Mosunic also scored for the Beacons. Libby Hooper had five assists.
