Pierce Walston started a closing 19-2 surge with a 3-pointer and scored nine of his 29 points in the fourth quarter as the fourth-seeded Red Riots (19-3) beat the No. 3 Coyotes (16-5) in Bangor to win their second straight Class B North championship.
Old Town led 42-39 early in the fourth before Walston and the Red Riots took control, setting up a rematch with Oceanside in the state championship game next Saturday in Bangor.
Bergen Soderberg added 10 points for Orono.
Emmitt Butler scored 17 points and Grayson Thibault had 10 for Old Town.
