B NORTH SEMIFINAL: #5-MESSALONSKEE VS. #1-FALMOUTH

The top-seeded Navigators (9-0) broke open a close game by scoring five touchdowns in the third quarter, pulling away from the fifth-seeded Eagles (4-6) in a Class B North semifinal at Falmouth.
The Navigators quickly padded their 16-7 halftime lead when Tres Walker threw a 43-yard TD pass to Ben Robbins. Walker then ran 32 yards for a score, Indi Backman got his second touchdown of the game on a 16-yard run, and Owen Ross raced 61 yards for another touchdown.
Eli Bush capped the outburst when he blocked a punt and recovered it in the end zone.
Falmouth opened a 13-0 lead in the second quarter on a 56-yard run by Backman and a 37-yard run by Giovanni Guerrette.
Messalonskee answered with a 40-yard pass from Tatum Doucette to Hayden Pierce. Falmouth’s Peter Kearns then kicked a 27-yard field goal just before halftime.
