Nate Hebert scored 17 points to help No. 2 seed Gray-New Gloucester edge No. 7 Kennebunk, 55-51, in a Class A South boys’ basketball quarterfinal Saturday at the Portland Expo.
Noah Hebert added 11 points as Gray-New Gloucester (16-3) overcame a 32-23 halftime deficit and advanced to the semifinals on Wednesday against No. 3 Marshwood. Aidan Hebert scored 10 and Michael Ryan Jr. had nine for the Patriots.
Theo Pow led Kennebunk (9-10) with 20 points, while Max Andrews scored 11.
