Ailey Mann scored twice to lead the seventh-seeded Spartans (10-4-1) over the 10th-seeded Scots (7-8) in a Class A South prelim at Sanford.
Mann opened the scoring with a header off a corner kick by Hailey Tarbox. Tarbox then made it 2-0 before Elizabeth Hamilton cut Bonny Eagle’s deficit in half, but goals by Julissa McBarron and Mann help Sanford pull away.
The Spartans next face second-seeded Gorham in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.
