Luis Cardoso scored three goals as the top-seeded Clippers (13-2) beat the eight-seeded Raiders (11-5) in a Class B South quarterfinal in Yarmouth.

Yarmouth advances to face the winner of Wednesday’s game between No. 5 Greely and No. 4 York in the semifinals.

Zach Turkel scored early in the first to give Yarmouth the lead. Cardoso added two first-half goals and Adam McLaughlin also scored in the first for the Clippers. Cardoso scored his third goal in the second half. Ben Flowerdew, Justin Dawes, George Brown and Matt Gautreau each had an assist.

Hugo Sala Mareca scored for Fryeburg.

Ian O’Connor and Julian Gebhardt combined for six saves for Yarmouth, while Myles Willimen and Aiden Clement combined for six saves for Fryeburg.
