Kennedy Charles had four long touchdown runs and also passed for a touchdown, leading the top-seeded Bulldogs (6-3) past the eighth-seeded Knights (1-8) in a Class B South quarterfinal in Portland.
Charles scored on runs of 60, 47, 80 and 80 yards, then connected with Myles Hang for a 45-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Aidan McGowan added a 72-yard kickoff return for a TD as Portland advanced to the semifinals against Kennebunk.
Noble’s Tommy Gagnon had TD runs of 38 and 41 yards in the fourth quarter.
