Kara Woods scored four goals to pace the No. 1 Cougars (12-3) past the No. 8 Pirates (5-8-2) in a Class C North quarterfinal in Dixfield.

Sylvia Hodsdon opened the scoring and found the back of the cage again in the third quarter, Grace Robbins tallied a goal and three assists, and Layla Merrill rounded out the scoring for Dirigo. Emily Woods provided four assists and Jayce Brophy added one.

Alivia Ellis made one save for the shutout, while Addy Beckwith stopped 11 shots for Piscataquis.
