Taylor Varney and Jack Brocke combined to score 21 points in the first half as the second-seeded Saints opened a 21-point lead by halftime and cruised to a Class D South quarterfinal win over N0. 7 Forest Hills at the Augusta Civic Center.
Varney finished with 16 points and Brocke added 15 for St. Dom’s (18-1), which will face No. 3 Telstar/Gould in the semifinals.
For the Tigers (9-10), Jaxson Desjardins put in 24 points and Blaine Nadeau had 18.
