Edward Little pulled away in the second half to wrap up its regular season with a 51-31 victory over rival Lewiston in a Class AA North girls basketball contest Friday in Lewiston.

The Blue Devils trailed 18-14 at halftime, but the Red Eddies seized control with a 17-4 third quarter.

Edward Little’s (12-6) Rachel Penny sank five 3-pointers and scored a game-high 21 points. Laylay Facchiano and Elizabeth Galway contributed nine points apiece.

Bailey Tardif-Mockler hit three 3s and led Lewiston (3-15) with 17 points.

The Red Eddies will host an AA North quarterfinal next week, likely as the third seed. Lewiston will be the seventh seed and travel to face No. 2 Cheverus (13-5).
