Braden Branagan jump-started the Ramblers’ offense with four first-quarter 3-pointers in a road win over the Bobcats in Richmond.
Branagan’s 14 first-quarter points helped Winthrop (9-7) take a 20-6 lead after one period. Branagan finished with six 3s and a game-high 20 points. Cole Bard added 14 points and Carter Rivers had nine.
Jake Gay led Richmond (7-5) with 17 points, while Zander Steel scored 15.
