Emily Groves recorded three goals for the top-seeded Falcons (15-0) as they beat the eighth-seeded Lakers (5-10) in a Class B South quarterfinal at Freeport.

Anna Maschino and Liza Flower each contributed two goals. Sophie Bradford, Lydia Porter and Callie Bourgoin also scored for the reigning state champions.

Nicole Watson made 13 saves for Lake Region.
