Deering High scored three touchdowns in the first five minutes Friday night and breezed to a 35-7 victory against visiting Westbrook in a Class B South football game at Memorial Field.

Tavian Lauture scored on a 10-yard run, then threw TD passes to Corbin Burke from 3 yards and Elijah Stewart from 19 as the Rams (5-1) opened a 21-0 lead against the Blue Blazes (0-6).

Joey Foley broke free for an 85-yard run in the second quarter to make it 27-0 at halftime.

David Mbuyamba scored for Westbrook on a 3-yard run in the third quarter before Foley answered from 2 yards in the fourth.

Westbrook’s Hunter Hall had a 29-scoring run in the final minute.
