NOKOMIS 7, ELLSWORTH 0: Megan Watson hit a three-run home run to key a five run second inning for Nokomis, as the Warriors took the Class B North semifinal win at Ellsworth.
No. 3 Nokomis (14-5) will face No. 8 Winslow (7-11) in the Class B North championship, Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Brewer. No. 2 Ellsworth ends the season at 16-2.
Melissa Walker hit a two-run double for the Warriors in the second inning. Mia Coots earned the win, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out 12.
