WELLS 11, POLAND 3: Michael Wrigley lined a 3-1 pitch for a three-run homer to drive in Cam Cousins and Tyler Bridge who singled ahead of him in the first inning as the Warriors (13-2) downed the Knights (1-14) at Poland.
Bridge was 4 for 5 to lead the 17-hit attack for Wells, Wrigley went 3 for 4 and drove in four runs, while Gary Andrews had three singles and Garrett Goss and Matt Tufts added two hits each.
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESER 10, FREEPORT 3: Alexa Thayer completed a string of five straight batters with singles as the Patriots (10-5) scored five first-inning runs and defeated the Falcons (2-13) at Freeport.
Isabelle Brindley had a pair of hits, including a leadoff homer in the fifth, when Gray-New Gloucester added three runs, Madison Pelletier, Lydia Espling and Chelsea Davis each added a pair of hits.
Callie Toothaker had a double and single for Freeport, and Brianna Welch and Alexys Langley added two hits apiece.
SANFORD 9, CHEVERUS 8: Grace Curley drove home two runs with a pair of hits, and also scored, as the Spartans (2-14) rallied to defeat Cheverus/North Yarmouth Academy (3-13) in eight innings at Sanford.
Sanford, down 7-5, forced extra innings with a two-run seventh. After the Stags scored in the top of the eighth, the Spartans pushed across two in the bottom of the inning.
Caroline Taylor recorded three hits, three runs and an RBI for the Stags.
YORK 6, LAKE REGION 4: Hannah Gennaro, Kayla Dredge and Wendy Donnell had RBI doubles for the Wildcats (5-10) against Lake Region (6-9) at York.
Third baseman Gennaro and Dredge, the catcher, were also involved in a key defensive play when the Lakers loaded the bases in the fourth inning. Gennaro fielded a grounder and threw home to Dredge, who relayed the ball to Abbi Kavanaugh at first for a rally-killing double play.

SOUTH PORTLAND 5, BIDDEFORD 2: Grace Rende hit a go-ahead triple in the sixth inning to lead the Red Riots (8-8) over the Tigers (7-9) at South Portland.
Alexis Matteau’s RBI single in the top of the sixth gave Biddeford a 2-1 lead. Taylor Wildes led the Tigers with two hits.
Maria Buck scored for South Portland on an error in the bottom of the sixth to make it 2-2 before Rende hit her two-run triple.
Hattie Tetzlaff earned the win, allowing seven hits and one earned run with one walk and five strikeouts.
NOBLE 13, MAINE GIRLS’ ACADEMY 1: Kelsey Lessard went 4 for 4 with five RBI, including a three-run homer to power a six-run fourth inning as the Knights (15-1) beat Maine Girls’ Academy/Falmouth (3-13) at North Berwick.
Emily Sanfacon had three singles for Noble, Mackenzie Aleva added a pair of doubles and Jordan Boucher a pair of hits.
Liberty Ladd had an RBI triple for the Lions.
Raegan Kelly allowed an earned run on two hits for the Knights, striking out nine and walking two.
SCARBOROUGH 13, BONNY EAGLE 1: Chloe Griffin had both of her doubles in a nine-run third inning, as the Red Storm (16-0) sent 13 batters to the plate and went on to beat the Scots (7-9) in five innings at Scarborough.
Hunter Greenleaf, Ivy DiBiase and Lindsey Kelly each had a pair of hits and drove in two runs, and Samantha Carreiro chipped in with a couple of singles for Scarborough.
Sydney Gillingham had an RBI single for Bonny Eagle in the fifth.
PORTLAND 4, DEERING 0: Jess Brown threw a four-hitter, fanning 11 batters and walking three as the Bulldogs (9-7) shut out the Rams (0-16) at Portland, giving Coach Robbie Ferrante his 250th career victory.
Sydney Gilbert had a two-run home run in the fourth inning for Portland.
NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 15, WELLS 12: Isabella MacMahon had four goals and an assist for the Panthers (4-7), who scored the final three goals to down Wells (3-7) at Yarmouth.
Helen Hamblett recorded three goals and three assists for the Panthers, with Lincoln Hamblett and Charlotte Collins also scoring three times and Natalie Farrell twice. Franny Ramsdell had three goalss, and Megan Schneider, Leah Tufts and Rhiannon McQuaide added two apiece for Wells.
