Jake Sullivan had a pair of doubles, including a run-scoring liner in the second inning as the Wildcats downed the visiting Clippers in a season opener at York.

Shane Pidgeon had a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the sixth for York as they pulled away.

J. Henry Bock threw six innings for the Wildcats to pick up the win, allowing one earned runs on three hits, striking out three and walking one.
