KENNEBUNK 10, YARMOUTH 8

Lily Schwartzman scored four goals and won 18 of 20 draws to help Kennebunk rally from a three-goal second-half deficit to beat Yarmouth, 10-8, and remain undefeated.

Schwartzman and Danielle Gassman scored to give the Rams (4-0) an early 2-0 lead, but Yarmouth (1-1) held Kennebunk scoreless for 18 minutes and got goals from Emma Moll, Annie Lowenstein, Katelyn D’Appolonia and Aine Powers before Emily Archibald’s free position pulled the Rams within 4-3 at halftime.

Goals by Lowenstein and Powers made it 6-3, and after Ruby Sliwkowski answered for Kennebunk, Yarmouth’s Annie Bergeron scored with just under 20 minutes to play.

Schwartzman then took over, winning every draw the rest of the way and scoring three goals before Gassman but the Rams ahead, 8-7. Powers tied it with 6:05 remaining, but an unassisted goal from Sliwkowski with 4:30 on the clock put Kennebunk ahead to stay.

Skylar Maloney added a clinching goal.

Yarmouth goalie Juliet Meas made nine saves. Lizzie Hayes stopped five shots for Kennebunk.
