Senior Matt Sherburne was prolific from the floor with a game-high 26 points to lead Wells to a 67-18 triumph over Poland in boys’ basketball action Thursday evening.
Following a slow start by both teams, the Warriors (4-3) found their footing in the second quarter for a 30-16 halftime lead. Payton MacKay contributed 12 points for Wells.
Freshman Jay Hawkes paced the Knights (2-7) with a team-leading nine points in the losing effort.
